Paulo Simões
Landscape Architect
Paulo Simões, born in Luanda in 1969, is the founder and director of the Atelier of Landscape Architecture Rio Plano.
Degree in Landscape Architecture at the Agronomy Institute, Technical University of Lisbon, started his professional activity in 1993 through collaboration in various I&D projects with the Institute of Agronomy (ISA), Autonomous Section of Landscape Architecture (SAAP) and other institutions, including the University of Berkeley, California, the University of Évora, Technical University (IST), among others.
From 1994 to 2000 participates in several projects as coordinator, either personally, or incorporated in the team of a landscape architecture studio.
In 2001 creates the studio Rio Plano, as a company for project design and consulting in the areas of Landscape Architecture, Environment and Urban Art, having a large portfolio of studies where interdisciplinarity is an odd factor in the projects progress.
